Anti-Surge Wirewound Fast-Fuse MELF Resistor (SWMT) features anti-surge and fast-fuse structure, is a few SMD resistors which can sustain surge energy, and the embedded thermal fuse is protecting the circuit against overheating in electronic products.
Anti-Surge Wire Wound Fast-Fuse MELF Resistor (SWMT) with SMD enabled structure features power rating from 1W to 4W, resistances range from 1 ohm to 470 ohm and tolerance at ±1%、±2% and ±5%. Further enhancing reliability of fast-fuse structure, there are two condition makes thermal fused reaction: 1.)Interrupts in max. 15 seconds at 40 times rated power. 2.)Interrupts in max. 5 minutes at 3.5 times rated amp at 265°C
